EMERL in partnership with DSO, is offering the DSO PhD Research Scholarship to outstanding Singaporean graduates who are keen to pursue research in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity (SI), areas that are of importance to defence applications.
By guiding and training top quality PhD students, we also hope to reinforce our standing as one of Singapore’s top research institutions. The awards also aim to sustain a continuous pool of exciting and fresh minds in our midst to push defence R & D in Singapore to greater heights.
Who Can Apply ?
- Singapore citizen
- Must have obtained 1st class or 2nd upper (honours) Bachelor's degree
- Must apply to NTU for PhD programmes
DSO PhD Research Award Terms
- Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend, full tuition fees, and other compulsory fees and allowances for attending both local and international conferences
- The monthly stipend is $3,100 per month
- Students will receive conference support of up to $4,000 per year
- The sponsorship period is for 4 years
- The award is bond free
- Upon successful completion, students will be conferred a PhD degree by NTU
